Tuesday March 20th marks the first day of Spring here in the Northern Hemisphere, Yayyy :)
At Stonehenge in the U.K. they might be drinking dandelion and burdock cordials to cleanse the blood, which is a good tonic after winter. Time for spring- cleaning !
*At Stonehenge inside the circle, they may witness the sun rising, with Druid Ceremony and festivities. As with all the other key festivals of the year, there are both Pagan and Christian associations with the Spring Equinox. To Pagans, this is the time of the ancient Saxon goddess, Eostre, who stands for new beginnings and fertility.
