This year summer solstice happens on June 21, 2018.
The name for the festival of the Summer Solstice in Druidry is Alban Hefin, which means 'The Light of the Shore'. Druidry has a great respect and reverence for places that are 'in between' worlds. The seashore is one such place, where the three realms of Earth, Sea and Sky meet. There is great power in places such as these. It is the time of greatest light when the Solar God is crowned by the Goddess as the King of Summer. It also brings some sadness because from now until Alban Arthan, the Sun's strength is declining and we have entered the waning year. For some this is the time of the Dark Twin, or Holly King, who is born and will take his crown at Alban Arthan. Of all the festivals Druidry is mostly associated with Alban Hefin. The wonderful white-robed figures filmed at the dawn rituals at Stonehenge are testament to this. However, to many Druids it is the turning seasons and the cycle of life, death and rebirth - reflected in the Wheel of the Year in its completeness - which are significant.-https://www.druidry.org/

Welcome to Spring :)
Tuesday March 20th marks the first day of Spring here in the Northern Hemisphere, Yayyy :)
At Stonehenge in the U.K. they might be drinking dandelion and burdock cordials to cleanse the blood, which is a good tonic after winter. Time for spring- cleaning !
*At Stonehenge inside the circle, they may witness the sun rising, with Druid Ceremony and festivities. As with all the other key festivals of the year, there are both Pagan and Christian associations with the Spring Equinox. To Pagans, this is the time of the ancient Saxon goddess, Eostre, who stands for new beginnings and fertility.

SCRYING With A Crystal Ball
SCRYING with A Crystal Ball-
Scrying comes from the Old English word descry meaning “to make out dimly” or “to reveal.”
I must admit that I don't know much about scrying, except the one episode when I was maybe seven or eight ish...That particular time a friend of my Mom and Dads had me staring at a crystal ball she had, while talking like a hypnotist in the background. This is what I sort of remember from that time:....Pat was saying something about it being a beautiful day, and I was sitting by cool clear water...I felt very different when I was staring at her crystal ball, and very focused. I started to see clouds in her crystal ball, and they were starting to clear. All of a sudden my older brother smacked me across the back of the head, cause he didn't like what I was doing, and that was it (game over).
I have thought about that episode often, and part of me wants to try it again, and part of me is not so sure...Maybe those television shows from long ago made me paranoid, such as the Wizard of OZ. (see below here )
