THE ROSE

Rose symbolism in Tarot:

Rose symbolism can mean things such as: Love, beauty, purity, sexuality, passion, desire, virtue, creation, spirituality, magic, and those are just a few of the meanings.The Rose is featured in several Tarot cards, Major Arcana: The Fool, The Magician, Strength, and Death.

THE FOOL-The "white rose" in his left hand represents purity and innocence.

The Wizards Tarot by Corinne Kenner and John Blumen

The Magician: represents purity and innocence found in the Fool, but also  represents worldly experience and knowledge. In the bed of flowers at his feet this duality is repeated in the mix of pure white lilies and thorny "red roses".

The "Strength" Card- The Woman is wearing a belt and crown of "roses" and stands "unprotected" in an open green field. The crown on her head represents the fullest, most beautiful expression of nature and transient life. 

Death-The banner that Death carries has a black background, indicating an absence of light. The "white rose," on the other hand, indicates beauty, purification and immortality.

The meaning of The Moon card: unforeseen perils, deception, change. Luck takes a bad turn,...Also means intuition, dreams, the card of the psychic, illusion, fear, anxiety, insecurity, subconscious.

Reversed Rx

The Moon reversed: not too bad reversed....Change not disruptive, deception unmasked, love will win, but not before it is almost destroyed by misunderstandings, release of fear, unhappiness, confusion.

JUDGEMENT-MAJOR ARCANA

Last but not least.....(in my slightly jumbled order). I didn't really intended on doing all the major arcana, but maybe it will help someone. I also tried to showcase different decks (cards), and also some tarot art. There sure is some nice stuff out there !!! I gave credit where I could, but some names etc. were hard to find..


JUDGEMENT 20- 

Radiant Rider-Waite Tarot

Interpretation: Awakening;renewal. A life well lived, work well done. Spiritual awakening. Renewed energy, better health, judgement, rebirth, inner calling, absolution.

Reversed Rx

Reversed: Self-doubt, refusal of self-examination, fear of death, failure to find happiness, not into the spiritual side of life, possible loss;ill health.


* Remember this is just basic meanings of the major arcana. Be careful in interpreting-be sure to judge against other cards in a spread (story).... If you're doing a small spread of, say, 3 cards (Past , Present, Future) then cards will have a certain meaning in those positions (Ie: its happened, its happening, or its gong to happen). Listen to your gut feelings when reading, or that little voice.💖🕊

THE EMPEROR card meaning- IMO the guy looks a jerk and especially with his bull friend there in the back ground, Geesh!  *This card means authority, leadership,  government, war-making power, father figure. I keep seeing a glint in his eye...(he is also regal.)

The Emperor reversed Rx- Well here he is up side down, that would be a mess ;) It means loss of self-control, a weak character, tied to ones parents, immature, can also mean inflexibility, domineering...
However you see it, keep your reading positive tone as much as you can...

Looking at pictures of tarot cards in google search, when I came across this pretty and delicate looking one of

Hard to find the info at first ,but I think its from a deck called-"The  New Lotus Tarot Deck" by Angie

THE WORLD upright meaning-Triumph in all undertakings, one of the best cards in the deck, good things, reward, travel etc.

THE WORLD reversed Rx meaning-lack of vision, fear of change at home or work, success yet to be won, lack of completion, lack of closure.

I'm going to shake things up a bit :) The Major Arcana are guideposts to things, events, and people that are meant to be taken more serious and looked at more closely in a tarot card reading.
